The Process Is Simple

Step 2
Attend the Evaluation
Meet with me online or in-person in a safe, confidential setting. I’ll ask questions about your history and current mental health with care and respect.
Step 3
Receive Your Report
Within 3 weeks, you’ll receive a comprehensive, legally informed psychological evaluation you can submit with your immigration application.
A Weak Report Can Cost You More Than Time
Unfortunately, not all evaluations are created equal. A vague, poorly written, or incomplete report can cause confusion or delay in your immigration case (or worse, lead to a denial).
While I can’t make any guarantees regarding the outcome of your case, a well-prepared immigration psych evaluation gives the court or USCIS the information they need to fully understand your situation, backed by psychological expertise.

Common Questions
How much does an immigration psych evaluation cost?
My standard fee is $970. This covers the full clinical process: approximately 3 hours of interviewing, three standardized psychological tests, and 8 or more hours of expert report writing, resulting in a 14- to 20-page report tailored to your case. Payment plans are available, and we can discuss those during your consultation.
If you need a translator for your evaluation, an additional $300 fee applies to cover the additional time and coordination required.
If you need your evaluation completed quickly, rush options are also available:
- A $500 rush fee applies for a 1-week turnaround
- A $300 rush fee applies for a 2-week turnaround
Rush fees ensure your evaluation is prioritized without compromising quality or thoroughness.
Do you offer online evaluations?
Yes. Secure telehealth appointments are available for people currently living anywhere in California.
How long does the process take?
We’ll meet for 2 interviews (1.5 hours each), for a total of 3 hours of clinical interviewing. Most reports are delivered within 3 weeks after your final interview. This timeline allows for the meticulous data analysis and 8+ hours of writing required to produce a 14 to 20 page, evidence-based report that is ready for submission to USCIS or immigration court.
Will you communicate with my attorney?
Yes. With your permission, I’ll coordinate directly with your attorney to ensure the report meets the specific needs of your case.
Are evaluations available in other languages?
Yes. If you are more comfortable completing your evaluation in another language, I can arrange for a professional interpreter to assist during our evaluation meetings. To protect the integrity and accuracy of the assessment process, the interpreter must be a professional rather than a friend or family member.
Please let me know your preferred language when scheduling your consultation. I will coordinate and hire the interpreter for you. An additional $300 interpreter fee applies.
